  • The Leicester squad arrived in the UAE Sunday night after their comprehensive 3-1 victory over Hull City at the King Power Stadium on Saturday.

The players will train but will also be given time off to enjoy various activities, where they are expected to visit Nikki Beach and popular restaurant Nusr-Et, owned by internet sensation Salt Bae, over the coming days.

Foxes caretaker boss Craig Shakespeare, who is set to be announced as manager later this week, told lcfc.com: “We’ve had a lot of new players and we just haven’t had the opportunity since the start of the season to get them away together as a team with the number of games in the Champions League and FA Cup.

“The opportunity to get together and socialise in a different environment can only help the group – it’s one of the reasons we’re doing it.”

Dubai has long been a popular destination for teams to soak up the mid-season sun with Stoke City, Everton and West Ham enjoying time in the UAE recently.

Leicester, who are currently five points clear of the Premier League relegation places, will fly back to the UK on Wednesday night.
