  • We have asked two UAE-based supporters to give their verdict on the standout Premier League fixture of the weekend, as well as providing you with details of where you can watch the game in the UAE.

Will Jurgen Klopp’s side demonstrate their big-game prowess yet again? Or will Ronald Koeman’s side continue their march up the league table?

    THREE BURNING QUESTIONS

Liverpool have enjoyed the talents of Suarez, Sturridge, and Torres up front but for the first time in nine years, do Everton have the better main strikers?

Such a good question. They have a consistent goal scorer in one main striker but we have goals coming from everywhere which I would rather have.

Good results against Arsenal, Spurs, and City recently. The team seem to be up for the big matches. So, definitely favourites in the derby, then?

Of course! We are much better against sides in the top half of the table and coupled with the history and rivalry behind this fixture I do feel that we are favoured to take all three points. We also have the top four to fight for and this will certainly rile up both players and fans.

Klavan or Lovren? Who should be partnering Matip in central defence and why?

This is an interesting one. I would favour Lovren as he has really grown and become a core part of our team. Klavan has had a few ups and downs recently, while Lovren’s growth in confidence and his stability have seen him gain much more confidence from the fans.

    PLAYER TO WATCH

I would say Coutinho on this one. He is due a big contribution and I fancy it coming on Saturday. We all know what he can do, it’s about now seeing it more often when it matters.

    PREDICTION

    2-1 to the Reds!

    THREE BURNING QUESTIONS

Level with Arsenal, albeit having played two more games, do you think you have an outside chance for a top-four spot?

It’s a big ask. If we had avoided that bad run of results between Watford away and Arsenal at home we’d be sitting pretty. Koeman usually has a strong tail end to most seasons but realistically we need to win our next two to have any chance at all. A tall order given our recent away record against the big teams.

How much of a blow is Coleman’s injury and how do you see the back-line setting up in his absence?

It’s undeniably a big blow to lose Coleman – possibly the nicest man in footbal – but Holgate could come in at right-back or even part of a back three. He performed well enough when needed earlier on in the season. I’m more concerned about Schneiderlin, if he’s fit it’s a massive boost.

Is Romelu Lukaku to leave this summer? Any early replacements in mind?

I’d rather not think about, it to be honest! He’s said nothing wrong in stating his ambition to win things. I guess we’ll have to see if we can match it in signing quality players to complement, rather than replace, him. The media seem to think it’s a foregone conclusion he’s on his way out, but I’m not convinced.

    PLAYER TO WATCH

Tom Davies. He gets better with every game and is a local lad making us all proud.

    PREDICTION

Two-nil win to Everton. I say the same every season and 20 years since our last win at the pit is too long.
