    1. DEMARAI GRAY (LEICESTER CITY) – 8.4

Slowly finding his feet in the Premier League is Demarai Gray. He put on a fabulous show against Stoke City and proved to be a real nuisance upfront for the Stokes defenders.

He was just brilliant in the first 30 minutes of the game. Some really good runs, quick-feet and turns set the tone for a comfortable Leicester win.

A couple of more consistent performances and Gray will surely become a regular in Craig Shakespeare’s side.

    2. PHILIPPE COUTINHO (LIVERPOOL) – 8.2

Well, it finally looks like Coutinho has put his ankle injury behind him. He produced a scintillating display in the Merseyside Derby against Everton.

It was Coutinho’s clever run that created the space for Sadio Mane’s opener. He then scored with a great curling effort. And lastly provided the assist to Divock Origi to wrap it up 3-1.

Most importantly, he didn’t look a happy man after being substituted after 74 minutes. Coutinho wanting more time on the pitch certainly is good news for Liverpool.

    3. JONNY EVANS (WEST BROMVICH ALBION) – 8.1

A hard-fought draw against Manchester United came thanks to a magnificent show by Jonny Evans at the back for West Brom.

Almost faultless throughout, Evans led the back-line and looked like he had a point to prove to his old club.

He put in some superb tackles, was organised, positioned himself well on the pitch, and was disciplined most importantly, for his team.

    4. MAMADOU SAKHO (CRYSTAL PALACE) – 8.1

Mamadou Sakho was at the heart of an upset Crystal Palace produced at the weekend at Stamford Bridge, the home of the league leaders, Chelsea.

Despite losing two of his defensive partners to injury, Sakho stepped up to secure a 2-1 win.

He was commanding, resilient and motivated to keep his team’s lead intact. He made a few nervy clearances at the closing stages of the game too.

    5. JAMIE VARDY (LEICESTER CITY) 7.6

Jamie Vardy’s sixth goal in his last eight appearances for club and country, along with a belter from Wilfred Ndidi, was enough for Leicester City to win 2-0 against Stoke City.

Vardy struck a thunderous volley past Lee Grant just after half-time. He caused all sorts of problems in Stokes’ half.
