While some professional footballers are still lying on sunny beaches enjoying their holidays, Manchester United star Marcus Rashford has been putting in the hard yards during his summer break.
The 19-year-old spent the last week going through a gruelling bootcamp under the tutelage of Nike coach Jamie Reynolds as he eyes a starting place at Old Trafford next season.
In this short video, Reynolds filmed highlights of the England international as he went through a series of speed, strength and stamina exercises at the Nike World Campus in Portland.
Jose Mourinho’s side will begin their pre-season tour of the United States on July 15 with games against LA Galaxy, Real Salt Lake, Manchester City, Real Madrid and Barcelona.
They will then face Valerenga in Oslo, and Sampdoria in Dublin on August 2, before the Premier League kicks off again on August 12.
