Former Hamburg and Bolton Wanderers midfielder Stig Tofting believes Christian Eriksen could play for either Real Madrid or Barcelona.

The former Danish international thinks his compatriot wouldn’t look out of place in either the Camp Nou or Bernabeu.

He believes the Tottenham playmaker has the ability and skill to thrive among players of that calibre.

However, the 47-year-old doesn’t expect to see Eriksen play for either of those teams in the near future, claiming that the Spanish juggernauts usually pursue players of a higher profile.

Watch Tofting have his say on Eriksen in the video below.

Former Arsenal forward Robert Pires is excited about the arrival of French striker Alexandre Lacazette to his old club.

Arsenal signed Lacazette in the ongoing transfer window from Lyon for a fee worth up to £52million on a five-year deal.

Pires believes Arsenal's forward line now looks good with Olivier Giroud, Danny Welbeck, Alexis Sanchez and Lacazette, which is important for any team that wishes to lift the Premier League trophy.

Meanwhile, Arsenal missed out on the chance to qualify for the Champions League and therefore the former French international feels Arsenal should now look to focus on the job at hand and that is to win the Premier League.
