  • Each week, Sport360 will bring you tips for the English Premier League’s official fantasy football game. Fancy pitting your wits against us? You can join “Sport360 Fans League” using the code 2529004-595062.

Manchester City followed up their 6-0 win away to Watford with a 5-0 win at home to Crystal Palace with Sergio Aguero racking up big scores in both fixtures.

The striker is however ruled out for the time being after being involved in a car crash and that poses some problems for plenty of Fantasy Premier League managers who have benefited from his form of late or worse, those who have only brought him in this week.

Meanwhile, they face Chelsea this Saturday who are coming off the back of a 4-0 win at Stoke where Alvaro Morata bagged a hat-trick.

Here are a few pointers to guide you ahead of Gameweek Seven.

CAPTAIN – ROMELU LUKAKU | MANCHESTER UNITED |11.7M

David Silva (8.4m) was our pick last week and he delivered with two assists, a clean sheet and two bonus points to amount to 11 points, doubling to 22.

The obvious pick for the captaincy this week though is Romelu Lukaku (11.7m) as Manchester United host Crystal Palace. The Belgian has scored 10 goals in nine games for United so far this season and will be expected to get on the score sheet again at Old Trafford.

He will be the most popular choice for the captaincy this weekend and that’s why not handing him the armband seems like a risk.

    ALTERNATIVES

HARRY KANE is proving to be a frustrating FPL asset. A disappointing GW5 was sandwiched in between two braces while his hat-trick in the Champions League against APOEL was another warning for those looking to drop him for perhaps Morata or Alexander Lacazette.

Speaking of… ALEXANDER LACAZETTE (10.3m) like Kane, is also on penalties but unlike Kane, thrives at home. Facing Brighton at the Emirates on Sunday, the Frenchman will be a popular choice as well.

    BOLD CHOICE

JAMIE VARDY (8.5m) has been in good nick, scoring in his last three outings although he missed a penalty in the previous game against Liverpool. Leicester City have a good run now and play Bournemouth away on Saturday. It’s risky though because the striker is struggling with a hip injury and not certain to start.

    TWO INS

    ALEXANDER LACAZETTE | ARSENAL  | 10.3M

Lacazette is starting to look the part at Arsenal and starting with their game against Brighton this weekend, the Gunners have a comfortable few weeks ahead before facing City and Spurs in GW11 and 12.

    EDEN HAZARD | CHELSEA | 10.5M

Back in the team and back in form. Eden Hazard is something of an FPL legend and his return to action has been highly anticipated. He has a knack for being the difference in big games and City at home gives him the opportunity to shine.

Beyond that as well, Chelsea have a great run of games with only United and Liverpool posing big challenges from GW8 until GW21.

    TWO OUTS

    AARON MOOY | HUDDERSFIELD | 5.7M

An early season favourite due to his form at the start of the campaign and his price, it’s time to drop the midfielder. He’s blanked in the last four rounds and Huddersfield are about to embark on a tough run of fixtures.

After facing Spurs this weekend, they have United, Liverpool, City and Arsenal to come over the next seven Gameweeks.

    SERGIO AGUERO | MANCHESTER CITY | 11.7M

An unfortunate car accident has left Aguero injured without a return date as yet. It’s not ideal to have 11.7m sitting on the bench, especially when there are so many other top strikers delivering at the moment. The striker has suffered a broken rib which means he could miss the next four to six weeks.
