  • Tiemoue Bakayoko, Willian and Pedro were all on the score sheet as Chelsea eased to a 3-1 win away to Huddersfield in the Premier League.

Laurent Depoitre pulled one back for the hosts right at the death but it was a comfortable three points for the champions.

Here, we rate the Chelsea players.

    CHELSEA

THIBAUT COURTOIS: Had a quiet night but pulled off a decent save to deny Tom Ince when called upon. Made a good save down to his right at the end as well but could do nothing to stop Depoitre’s header at the death. 6

CESAR AZPILICUETA: Used the diagonal ball to Alonso to great effect. A real creative force for the visitors from defence. 6

ANTONIO RUDIGER: Solid at the back for the most part but wasn’t tight enough to Depoitre as Chelsea conceded at the death. 6

ANDREAS CHRISTENSEN: Had a huge role as the last man, guarding against the counter and the first man, building play from the back. Did his job excellently. Defence started to look a little vulnerable only after he was subbed off. 8

VICTOR MOSES: Got forward enough and had space to work with but his delivery wasn’t as good as Alonso’s on the opposite flank. 6

TIEMOUE BAKAYOKO: One of his better games in a Chelsea shirt. Got on the end of a pass from Willian for the first goal, although it may well have been an own goal by Chris Lowe. 7

EDEN HAZARD: His delicious back-heel flick to Willian created the chance for the opener. Always caused defenders problems with quick runs and close control. Didn’t get on the score sheet and was subbed off in the 68th minute but played well and should’ve had at least a couple of assists. 7

N’GOLO KANTE: Anchored the midfield with aplomb but also showed plenty of attacking intent. 7

WILLIAN: Set up the opener with a pass to Bakayoko. Good header for the second and provided the assist in the third as well. 8

MARCOS ALONSO: Had a lot of space to run into and took advantage with a good cross for Willian to score the second. His dangerous cross led to the third as well. 7

PEDRO: Showed good movement early on but was caught offside twice, once after finding the back of the net. Should’ve scored when played in by Hazard just before half-time. Bagged the third goal with a great finish. 8
