Premier League leaders Manchester City saw their unbeaten run come to an end in a 4-3 defeat against Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday.
The Reds may have been delighted with their performance but the result was equally celebrated by Arsenal fans despite losing to Bournemouth 2-1 earlier in the day.
City’s loss means the Gunners hold on to their ‘Invincibles’ tag after winning the 2003-04 title without a single defeat.
Here’s some of the reaction from their fans after the encounter.
Our invincible record is preserved.
Enjoy this fact, because it could well be one of he highlights of our season when we look back in May.
Very depressing times to be an Arsenal fan.
