Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris is being monitored to assess his fitness after being struck down by illness.
The club posted the news on their official Twitter account ahead of Sunday’s Premier League game against Southampton at St Mary’s.
Dutch reserve goalkeeper Michel Vorm is in line to deputise for what would be his first league appearance since April 2017.

Chelsea will head over to Brighton without the suspended Alvaro Morata while Tottenham face Southampton on the road.
Here are a few pointers to guide you ahead of Gameweek 24.
City were finally beaten by Liverpool at Anfield last week but Sergio Aguero still managed to pick up an assist in the defeat. You’d expect a lot more from him at home to Newcastle on Saturday though with the league leaders desperate for a result to reinforce their authority.
The Argentine does enjoy playing the Magpies as well, as his five-goal haul against them two seasons ago would suggest.
He hasn’t been a mainstay in City’s line-up this season but the fact that he’s still managed 59 shots inside the box, behind only Harry Kane and Mohamed Salah, speaks volumes of his threat in front of goal.
With Gabriel Jesus expected to be sidelined for a further four weeks, Aguero is set to enjoy the security of being a certain starter for the Sky Blues once more.
MOHAMED SALAH (10.2m) has blanked just once in his last 14 outings. That is remarkable. Swansea away presents another opportunity for the Egyptian to add to his points tally having put City to the sword with a goal and assist last week.
HARRY KANE (13.0m) is in a rich vein of form as well. The striker has three double-figure hauls in the last five gameweeks and faces a poor Southampton side away who haven’t won in 10 league games now.
EDEN HAZARD (10.6m) only has one goal and assist in his last eight outings. That’s hardly impressive for an FPL asset in his price bracket. However, his 10 points against Arsenal was reason enough to take notice, especially since he’s been playing well all along. Question is whether he can transform that into FPL points away to Brighton.
ALEX OXLADE-CHAMBERLAIN | LIVERPOOL | 5.7M
Now that he’s being afforded more playing time at Liverpool, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is a very promising option. With his price and attacking nature, he could be one of the bargains of the second half of the season.
He was fantastic against City and scored a great goal. With Philippe Coutinho’s departure, he could establish himself in midfield.
CALLUM WILSON | BOURNEMOUTH | 5.8M
For a while now FPL managers have been looking for a budget striker to take over from the likes of Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Tammy Abraham. Callum Wilson looks like he could be the man for the job having bagged 27 points in his last four GWs.
Bournemouth face West Ham away and apart from a trip to Chelsea next week, have good fixtures to come. He’s scored three goals and provided one assist in his last four outings and is owned by just 3.9%.
ALVARO MORATA| CHELSEA | 10.4M
The only reason Alvaro Morata was drafted back into so many teams was Chelsea’s attractive run of fixtures but once again, he’s failed to repay that faith.
With just one goal in the last eight GWs, the Spaniard was already a candidate to be dropped and having picked up a suspension in the League Cup encounter with Norwich City, he’s now a certainty to get rid.
WAYNE ROONEY | EVERTON | 7.5M
Still owned by 14.8% of FPL teams, Wayne Rooney has managed just three points in the last five GWs, failing to feature at all in two of those games.
With Cenk Tosun and Theo Walcott’s arrival, Everton may not have to rely on Rooney rolling back the years as much. Given the faith Sam Allardyce has shown in Gylfi Sigurdsson as well, the former United skipper could find himself getting used to the bench.

He said: “We don’t discuss the transfer market here. We have a long and decisive part of the season to play. We need all the players. We will see how it will be. If something jumped in my face maybe we’d think about it.”
