  • Manchester United and Liverpool lock horns in the Premier League in the match of the weekend on Saturday, but there’s plenty of other fixtures for fans to get their teeth into across the weekend.

We look at the key stats ahead of the fixtures on Sunday and Monday.

    BOURNEMOUTH V TOTTENHAM

    – Bournemouth have lost four of their five Premier League meetings with Tottenham, with the exception being a 0-0 draw in this exact fixture last season.

    – Spurs are unbeaten in their last 11 Premier League matches, winning the last three without conceding. They last won four in a row while keeping a clean sheet in April 2017.

    – This will be Mauricio Pochettino’s 144th Premier League game in charge of Tottenham – no manager has taken charge of more in the competition for the north Londoners (level with Harry Redknapp).

    – Harry Kane has scored six goals in his four Premier League games against Bournemouth, including a hat-trick on his only previous visit to the Vitality Stadium (5-1 in October 2015).

    ARSENAL V WATFORD

    – After winning their first seven Premier League games against Watford, Arsenal have lost their last two against the Hornets in the competition.

    – The Gunners haven’t failed to score in any of their last 11 games against Watford in all competitions.

    – Since beating Arsenal 2-1 in January 2017, Watford have lost their last six Premier League games in London, conceding 17 goals in that run (2.8 per game).

    – Watford have won their last two Premier League games, last winning three in a row in December 2015 (a run of four).

    – Troy Deeney has scored the winning goal in both of those wins, with the scoreline being 1-0 both times. The last time a team won three successive Premier League games 1-0, with the same player scoring the winner each time was Liverpool and Daniel Sturridge in September 2013.

    MONDAY

    STOKE V MAN CITY

    – Stoke have kept a clean sheet in three of their last seven Premier League games against Man City, but have conceded 19 goals across the other four games in that time, including seven in the reverse fixture in October.

    – Manchester City have scored 83 goals already this season. Only 13 clubs have ever scored more in a complete Premier League campaign.

    – Sergio Aguero has scored eight goals in his eight Premier League games against Stoke, including a brace in his last two away games against them. No player has ever scored at least twice in three consecutive away games against the same club in the Premier League.

    – David Silva is on nine assists in the Premier League this season, with only Kevin De Bruyne (14) and Leroy Sane (11) providing more. If he gets another one, Man City will become only the third team to have three players reach double figures for assists in a single Premier League campaign, after Liverpool in 1995-96 and Arsenal in 2004-05.
