Arsenal manager Unai Emery says there is a clear difference between his side and Manchester City after the reining Premier League champions handed him a 2-0 defeat in his first game in charge of the north London club.
Emery was pleased with his players’ efforts but says that City’s performance on Sunday showed how much the Gunners need to improve in order to close the gap to their opponents.
“Manchester City is demanding our best performance,” Emery said after Sunday’s loss. “We need to continue working.”
