    January 31 – 16:45 (GST)

    Hull City v Newcastle

    None of the last seven matches between Hull and Newcastle in all competitions has ended as a home win (three draws, four away wins).

    • In five previous Premier League meetings between the two sides neither team has managed to keep a clean sheet and there have been 19 goals netted in total.
    • The Tigers have won just two of their last 12 Premier League home games (W2 D3 L7).
    • Steve Bruce’s side have failed to score in four of the last six Premier League home matches.
    • Newcastle United have scored the highest percentage of second half goals in the top flight this season (73%).
    • Hull City have failed to score in 10 of their last 14 Premier League matches.
    • The Magpies have conceded two or more goals in each of their last five league matches.
    • Hull have conceded 17 goals in their last 12 home league games, managing just three clean sheets.
    • The last time Hull kept consecutive clean sheets in home league games was April 2014 (wins over West Brom and Swansea).
    • Newcastle have scored more goals through their substitutes than any other team in the top flight this season (8).

    Crystal Palace v Everton 

    James McArthur has cleared the ball off the line more often than any other player in the Premier League this season (4).

    • Only one of the last eight meetings in all competitions has ended as a home win in this fixture (two draws, five away wins).
    • Everton have won none of their last six Barclays Premier League away games, losing the last five in a row.
    • Everton have won four and lost just one of their last six visits to Selhurst Park to play Palace in all competitions.
    • Alan Pardew and Robert Martinez have met as opposition coaches eight times in the Premier League with four wins apiece.
    • Crystal Palace have recovered more points from losing positions than any other team in the Premier League (14).
    • The Eagles have committed more fouls than any other team in the division (299).
    • The Toffees have committed fewer fouls than any other side in the top flight (213).
    • Dwight Gayle has scored five goals from just seven shots on target in the Premier League this season.
    • Mile Jedinak has made more interceptions than any other Premier League player this season (68).

    Liverpool v West Ham United

    Sam Allardyce’s team have been very efficient just after half-time, scoring more goals (10) in the 15 minutes after the break than any other side in the division.

    • Liverpool have only won three of their last 10 home Barclays Premier League matches (W3 D5 L2).
    • West Ham United have not won away in the league at Anfield since 1963, losing 30 and drawing 11 of their subsequent 41 trips since.
    • The Hammers have scored just seven goals in their last 29 league visits to Anfield, failing to score on 23 occasions. The goal they netted last season was a Skrtel own goal.
    • Glen Johnson has scored three goals and has one assist in his last six Premier League appearances against his former club.
    • The Hammers’ victory over the Reds earlier this season was only their third in the last 23 Premier League meetings (W3 D4 L16).
    • West Ham United have scored more headed goals than any other team in the top division (14).
    • 36 points after 22 matches is West Ham’s best ever points haul in the Premier League era.
    • Raheem Sterling now has as many Premier League assists as he managed last season (5).
    • Morgan Amalfitano has scored three goals from just four shots on target in the Premier League this season.

    Manchester United v Leicester City

    Leicester became only the 6th team to score 5+ goals vs Man Utd in a PL game (+ Newcastle, Southampton, Chelsea, Man City & WBA).

    • There have been just five goals in the last four Premier League games involving Man Utd.
    • Leicester have won just one of their last nine Barclays Premier League away matches (W1 D1 L7).
    • The Foxes had netted just one goal in their previous eight Premier League matches against Manchester United before their 5-3 win earlier this season.
    • Only Chelsea (19%) have scored with a higher percentage of their shots than Man Utd (17%).
    • Leicester became only the 6th team to score 5+ goals vs Man Utd in a PL game (+ Newcastle, Southampton, Chelsea, Man City & WBA).
    • For the first time in their 853-game PL history, Man Utd threw away a two goal lead to lose when the Foxes beat them 5-3 in September.
    • Leicester scored with all five of their shots on target in their 5-3 win over the Red Devils.
    • Wes Morgan has blocked more shots than any other Premier League player this season (28).
    • Only Crystal Palace (299) have committed more fouls than Leicester City (285) this season.

    Stoke City v Queens Park Rangers

    Niko Kranjcar has scored three goals in five Barclays Premier League games against Stoke including in both of his visits to the Britannia Stadium.

    • Stoke have only won four out of 10 Barclays Premier League games at the Britannia this season, netting just 12 goals on home soil. (W4 D2 L4)
    • Queens Park Rangers have become the first team to lose their first 10 away games of a top-flight season since Sunderland in 1964/65.
    • QPR are the only team in the top flight not to score a goal in the opening 15 minutes of a match this season.
    • Stoke on the other hand have come out of the blocks well this season, scoring seven goals in that period giving them a league high 30% of goals in the opening 15 minutes.
    • No player has been involved in more Stoke goals than Jon Walters this season (7, four goals, three assists).
    • The Londoners have allowed their opponents more shots on target than any other team in the Premier League (125).
    • There have been more own goals in QPR games than in those of any other team in the top flight this season (7 – four conceded, three in their favour).
    • Stoke have won five of the 16 Premier League games Bojan has played. He has scored in four of those victories and none of the matches they didn’t win.
    • Joey Barton has been booked in each of his last four Premier League games.

    Sunderland v Burnley

    In Premier League history only David Beckham (15), Gianfranco Zola and Thierry Henry (both 12) have scored more free kicks than Sebastian Larsson (11).

    • Sunderland have won just one of their last 12 Premier League matches (W1 D6 L5).
    • Burnley have only won two of their 29 Barclays Premier League away matches (W2 D5 L22).
    • The Clarets have only kept one clean sheet in those 28 Premier League matches and conceded two or more in 23 of them.
    • Burnley have won just one of the last 13 matches in all competitions against Sunderland (W1 D6 L6).
    • Burnley have conceded the most headed goals in the Premier League (11).
    • Danny Ings has scored in each of his last three Premier League appearances.
    • The Clarets have kept just one clean sheet in their last 11 Premier League matches.
    • 32% of the goals Sunderland have scored have come in the final 15 minutes of matches, the highest proportion in the top division.
    • Ashley Barnes has scored four goals from just six shots on target in the Premier League.

    West Bromwich Albion v Tottenham Hotspur

    No player has scored more winning goals than Christian Eriksen this season (5 – level with Yaya Toure).

    • West Brom’s win over Spurs earlier this season ended a run of nine Barclays Premier League games without a win over the Londoners (W0 D5 L4).
    • Spurs are unbeaten in their last four Premier League trips to the Hawthorns (W2 D2).
    • Christian Eriksen has scored in two of his three Premier League games against West Brom.
    • Seven of Tottenham’s last eight Premier League wins have been by a 2-1 scoreline.
    • Spurs’ record after 22 games this campaign is worse than each of the last five seasons.
    • Tottenham have won 10 points with goals scored in the 88th minute or later this season; four more than any other side.
    • Spurs have conceded more penalties than any other team in the Premier League this season (6).
    • Harry Kane has scored six goals in his last seven Premier League appearances.
    • Tottenham have lost just one of their last eight Premier League matches (W5 D2 L1).

    Chelsea v Manchester City

    Jose Mourinho has won seven and lost just two of the 11 meetings as a coach with Manuel Pellegrini.

    • Chelsea have won four and lost just two of their last eight Barclays Premier League games against Manchester City.
    • No team has beaten Manchester City more often in the Premier League than Chelsea (22 victories, same as Arsenal).
    • Andre Schurrle has scored in both of his Premier League appearances against Manchester City.
    • Chelsea have won 11 and lost just one of the last 16 Premier League home games against the Citizens.
    • Branislav Ivanovic has assisted a goal in each of his last three Premier League appearances.
    • Oscar has netted three goals and laid on two more in his last three Premier League games.
    • The Blues have kept eight clean sheets in their last 11 Premier League outings, including the last five in a row at Stamford Bridge.
    • 64% of the goals Manchester City have conceded have come in the second half, the highest proportion in the top flight.
    • Cesc Fabregas is the first player to provide 15 assists in two different Premier League seasons (2007/08 and 2014/15).

    Arsenal v Aston Villa

    Olivier Giroud has scored four goals in his last five Premier League appearances.

    • Danny Welbeck has scored four goals in his last three Premier League starts against Aston Villa.
    • Christian Benteke has scored three goals in four Premier League appearances against Arsenal.
    • Chelsea and Man Utd (12 each) are the only visiting team to have earned more points at the Emirates Stadium than Aston Villa (11) in the Barclays Premier League (W3 D2 L3).
    • Arsenal have scored five goals in their last two Premier League games against Villa, all between the 32nd and 36th minutes.
    • The Gunners haven’t managed to win three Premier League games in a row this season.
    • Aston Villa have gone eight hours and 42 minutes of Premier League football since they last scored.
    • Currently on a run of five games without a goal, the Villains have never gone six league games in a row without scoring in their history.
    • Olivier Giroud has scored four goals in his last five Premier League appearances.
    • Only Derby (10 in 2007-08) have scored fewer goals after 22 matches of a Premier League season than Aston Villa have managed this campaign (11).
    • Aston Villa have fired in just 60 shots on target this season, fewer than any other team in the division.

    Southampton v Swansea City

    Southampton have dropped fewer points from winning positions than any other team in the top flight (two).

    • Southampton have won only one of their last six home Premier League matches where the opposition has scored.
    • Swansea City have won just one of their last nine Premier League away matches (W1 D3 L5).
    • Saints have kept seven clean sheets in their last 11 Premier League matches at St Mary’s.
    • Swansea City have gone 377 minutes of league football without a goal against Southampton.
    • Saints are unbeaten in six league meetings against Swansea now, winning three and drawing three.
    • There have been just six goals scored in the five Barclays Premier League meetings between Southampton and Swansea City.
    • Southampton are the only team in the Premier League not to concede a penalty this season.
    • Only Aston Villa and Swansea City (both one) have scored fewer headed goals in the Premier League this season than the Saints (two).
    • 42 points after 22 matches is Southampton’s best ever points haul in their top flight history.
