  • Jurgen Klopp’s debut as Liverpool manager will be the centre of attention in England today but is he the right man bring the glory days back to Anfield starting against Tottenham?

Andy Gray and Richard Keys, who front beIN Sports’ Premier League coverage, discuss this and the weekend’s other games.

    Tottenham vs. Liverpool

Andy Gray: Klopp hasn’t got the easiest of debuts at Tottenham who have been on good form recently and I like what they are doing now. They are playing with energy and appear to have more stamina than most teams.

Apart from losing to Manchester United on the opening day of the season they have not lost a league game so they are doing something right. However, Liverpool like going to White Hart Lane and they will be fired up for their new manager. 1-1.

Richard Keys: Klopp hasn’t had enough time to get Liverpool playing the way he wants and the lift they will get from having a new man in charge won’t be enough.

He is not going to walk in and change everything immediately so I am going for Spurs, who continue to grow into a decent team, to win this. 2-0.

    Chelsea v Aston Villa

AG: Two teams with big problems and Tim Sherwood is already coming under pressure at Villa with David Moyes being linked with the job. This is a game Chelsea have to win and I don’t think they will have much trouble doing so. 2-0.

RK: I cannot believe Chelsea can be as bad as they were against Southampton last time. Sherwood is showing signs of stress at Villa and the clock is ticking. 2-0.

    Everton v Man United

AG: Everton will fancy this. They are unbeaten in seven games, including two League Cup matches, and have only lost one league game all season. I know United are ahead of them in the league but their form hasn’t been that great. Both teams will probably score but Everton will edge it. 2-1.

RK: If Everton had gone at Liverpool they would have won that game but they didn’t and I can see the same happening in this game. They are good enough to beat United but I think they will settle for a draw. 1-1.

    Crystal Palace v West Ham

AG: The Hammers have got a great away record but Palace are on a fine run and sitting proudly in fourth place. I am tempted to go for a score draw but home advantage will count. 2-1.

RK: West Ham are sixth with 14 points. A year ago they were fourth with 13 points so despite the fact that Hammers fans believe everything is rosy in the Upton Park garden I’m not sure it is. At their best Palace play really attractive football and they will win this. 3-1.

    Man City v Bournemouth

AG: No disrespect to Bournemouth but having beaten Newcastle 6-1 last time out City, even without the injured Sergio Aguero, are good enough to stroll this. 3-0.

RK: This could be 5-0 as easily as it could be 1-0. Bournemouth can be entertaining and at home they do ok but this is a big ask. 3-0.

    Southampton v Leicester

AG: Southampton have suddenly found some form and Graziano Pelle is scoring goals again. They have won their last three games, Leicester have proved they are difficult to beat but I think a bullish Saints side can win this 3-1.

RK: Leicester were fantastic at Norwich and although Southampton have improved I think they will have trouble getting past Claudio Ranieri’s side. 2-2.

    West Brom v Sunderland

AG: West Brom need a result because they are too close to the relegation zone for comfort but Sam Allardyce will be happy with a point in his first game back in the managerial hotseat. 1-1.

RK: They say there are no certainties in football, but here’s one – Sunderland will not be relegated. Allardyce was a brilliant appointment. He knows what is required, will steady the ship and get them out of trouble. 1-1.

    Watford v Arsenal

AG: Arsenal are as good as anyone when it comes to beating the weaker teams and I can’t see Watford, who have only scored one goal at home so far this season, troubling them. 0-2.

RK: I would love to think Watford could cause an upset but Arsenal are just too good for them. 0-2.

    Newcastle v Norwich

AG: Something needs to start happening at Newcastle, and quickly, but there is a danger they will under-estimate Norwich who I think can win this. 1-2.

RK: Losing their goalkeeper Tim Krul to injury is a massive blow for Newcastle and I don’t know where Steve McClaren goes next. Norwich won’t have any fear. 1-2

    Swansea v Stoke

AG: There won’t be many goals in this and Swansea desperately need Bafetimbi Gomis to start scoring again. Stoke don’t do high-scoring games so I’ll say 1-0 home win.

RK: I am disappointed with Swansea and Stoke have enough to go there and get a point. 1-1.
