  • As speculation grows over Jose Mourinho’s future at Chelsea he takes on Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool in a game that could decide his fate.

Andy Gray and Richard Keys who front beIN Sports’ EPL coverage discuss this and the weekend’s other games.

    Chelsea v Liverpool
    Andy Gray:
I would like to see Chelsea’s players, not Mourinho, do the talking this weekend against Liverpool, win the match and then move on. That would be the best thing for Chelsea and their manager.

Liverpool are a work in progress and they are devoid of ideas at the top end of the pitch. They have played 15 games this season and only once have they scored more than one goal and that is not going to change overnight, even with Jurgen Klopp in charge. 2-0.

Richard Keys: If Mourinho loses against Liverpool and gets the sack then people will say that was the reason. They would be wrong. If he is going it will have been decided already. This is a crunch weekend for Mourinho but I actually think they will beat Liverpool who aren’t very good. 2-1.

    Crystal Palace v Man United

AG: A few weeks ago I would have tipped Palace to win this but have gone off the boil. However, United are still not that good. 1-1.

RK: Palace need a result and, at their best, they can beat Man United. Over the past week I have seen two very ordinary performances from United and with home advantage I think Alan Pardew’s side can get a point. 2-2.

    Man City v Norwich

AG: City play the game the way I like; they try to create chances with risk football and although Norwich are not going to roll over they don’t look like a side that is going to win many matches at the moment. 3-0.

RK: I have a growing respect for Manuel Pellegrini and the way he likes his team to play; with a big team mentality. For Norwich it’s a case of trying to make sure they don’t ship too many goals. 4-0.

    Newcastle v Stoke City

AG: I know Newcastle lost 3-0 to Sunderland last week but up to the point they had a man sent off they were the better side by miles. Stoke are a good team and Mark Hughes will have been stunned by their defeat to Watford last week so he will expect a response. 2-2.

RK: I totally agree with Andy but I don’t expect so many goals. 1-1..

    Swansea v Arsenal

AG: Swansea aren’t the side we saw at the beginning of the season and are struggling whereas Arsenal are looking strong and should come away with all three points. 1-2.

RK: The pressure is off Garry Monk after Swansea beat Aston Villa last week but Arsenal, even without the injured Theo Walcott and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, are a better side. 1-2.

    Watford v West Ham

AG: Watford did really well at Stoke last week but at home they tend to struggle for goals. West Ham are on a good run of form and will be full of confidence. 0-2.

RK: West Ham have been brilliant so far this season and their away record is terrific but it has to end somewhere. 1-0.

    West Brom v Leicester

AG: It was significant that Leicester won a game 1-0 last week after a series of matches where they had to fight back to get a result. However, the Baggies are well organised at the back and will be difficult to break down. 1-0.

RK: I was disappointed to see Claudio Ranieri change his team for the midweek League Cup game which they went on to lose, because that was one of the few realistic chances they had of picking up some silverware this season. West Brom are tough to beat at home so I’ll say 1-1.

    Everton v Sunderland

AG: They may have beaten Newcastle last week but Sunderland were still poor. Sam Allardyce has got it all on to keep his side up this season but I don’t think they will get anything here. 2-0.

RK: Everton need to raise their game and quickly after two disappointing results. Allardyce stirred things up at Sunderland last week with that win over Newcastle and if he can restore some self-belief he will get them out of trouble. 1-1.

    Southampton v Bournemouth

AG: Bournemouth have found out that you can’t lose your best players to injury and expect to be competitive in the Premier League. Southampton are a class side on their day and will win this 3-1.

RK: Bournemouth are worrying me at the moment and they were totally dismantled by Tottenham last week. At home Southampton will be too strong. 2-0.

    Tottenham v Aston Villa

AG: Villa need a replacement for Tim Sherwood as soon as possible and, for me, there are three to choose from; David Moyes, Brendan Rodgers and Nigel Pearson. As for Monday’s game: 3-1 Spurs.

RK: Villa are in big trouble but don’t blame Sherwood. He had to carry the can but this is another club where there is a lot of unrest behind the scenes. Spurs will walk this. I agree with Andy, 3-1.
