  • Robert Lewandowski broke his Euro 2016 duck

Robert Lewandowski scored in the second minute of Poland’s Euro 2016 quarter-final against Portugal to end his goal-scoring drought.

The goal was the first of the tournament for the Bayern Munich striker who hadn’t hit the back of the net in 645 minutes.

However, he produced an emphatic first-time finish when he slotted a pacey cross into the corner of the net with aplomb.

The goal was the second fastest in European Championship history and gave Poland a flying start against Cristiano Ronaldo and co.
