  • Goal threat: Tottenham’s impressive Harry Kane.

Tottenham host Arsenal in today’s London derby having hit a rich vein of form, thanks to the effective partnership of home-grown talent Harry Kane and Christian Eriksen but do they have enough firepower to worry Arsenal who are also on a good run? Andy Gray and Richard Keys who front beIN Sports’ EPL coverage have their say:

    – Sport360's fantasy football tips: Diego Costa could give you the blues

    Tottenham v Arsenal

Andy Gray: Arsenal have won five of their last six games and are a side very much on the up with bags of confidence. So with two teams currently playing some of their best football of the season so far many will fancy a draw here, but I’m going for an  Arsenal win. I know they are without Alexis Sanchez which is a massive blow but that’s not such a serious problem when you can bring in someone who cost them £40m in Mesut Ozil.  He created a goal and scored against Villa last week and I thought he looked extremely sharp. So, although this is going to be a tough game for the Gunners I think they have more firepower which will give them the edge. 2-1.

Richard Keys: Arsenal may well have more players who can score goals but it doesn’t change my view that they will lose at White Hart Lane. By the way, I would also like to take this opportunity to ask whether Arsenal’s Jack Wilshere is the thickest footballer of all time. To have been caught smoking once and then to be in pictured holding a shisha pipe, I mean, come on Jack! After all the fuss last time he must be stupid to let it happen again.
Anyway, I digress, I think Spurs can get a result here. 2-1.

    Everton v Liverpool

AG: At first glance this has got draw written all over it. Liverpool are the better team but you can expect Everton to raise their game because there is so much at stake with bragging rights. The form guide suggests a Liverpool win, with Raheem Sterling and Daniel Sturridge back and the fact they are on a good run while Everton have had one win in their last nine games.  If this was at Anfield I would say Liverpool all day long but I think Everton can get something at home. 1-1.

RK: Everton’s resolve at Palace last week surprised me and I was pleased to see them dig in and get a result. But Liverpool have found a rhythm and they are clearly the better team. 3-1.

    Aston Villa v Chelsea

AG: Villa were woeful against Arsenal last week so they need a quick response and they are up against a Chelsea side which is under pressure from Man City and has been on iffy form. They have only had one win in their last four games so Villa might fancy it but I am going to stick with Chelsea because of the quality they have. 0-2

RK: I can’t find any excuses for Paul Lambert anymore and I am sure his players are bored rigid listening to the same ‘come on, we are still in this’ message. Chelsea will be far too good for them, with or without Fabregas. 0-2.

    Man City v Hull

AG: If you are Steve Bruce and you are desperate for a result the one place you don’t want to be going is the Etihad Stadium. Manchester City have got their tails up, they played well against Chelsea last week, and they are up against a side who have lost four in a row. This will be another torrid day for Hull. 3-0.

RK: I’m sorry to say that I think Hull are probably going down. They have got a run of fixtures now that are horrendous. City can dance around this lot. 4-0.

    Leicester v Crystal Palace

AG:  I thought Leicester played okay against Man United last week, despite losing, but they are up against a Palace side which is stronger defensively and at the other end of the pitch they are creating chances and scoring. 1-2.

RK: Palace surprised me last week, losing to Everton, while I also thought Leicester actually looked decent against United and I still think they have a real chance of staying in the Premier League. 1-0.

    QPR v Southampton

AG: QPR’s home form is decent and the fact that Harry Redknapp has gone won’t make any difference to that. Southampton had a poor result against Swansea last week and although on paper they are the better side I’m saying 1-1.

RK: I actually think QPR will get a lift from Rednapp’s exit. Southampton have lost a bit of momentum but they have enough quality to get a point. 2-2.

    Swansea v Sunderland

AG: Swansea come into this game on the back of that terrific win at Southampton and Sunderland have had two successive wins which will have given them a boost. Home advantage will sway it. 3-1.

RK: Both teams look like they have goals in them but Swansea are the slightly better side. 3-2.

    Burnley v West Brom

AG: I was disappointed with the way West Brom played against Spurs last week but they were a bit unlucky and I think they will bounce back from that and beat Burnley. 0-1.

RK: I don’t think Tony Pulis got the players he wanted in January and the little lift his appointment gave the Baggies has come and gone. 2-1 Burnley.

    West Ham v Manchester United

AG: Over the years West Ham have enjoyed frustrating Man United and we’ll see more of the same here. The Hammers have lost their way a little bit so they need to rediscover their form but the fact they are playing United, who still look pretty ordinary, will motivate them. 2-2.

RK: The Hammers went into Christmas in fourth place and haven’t really put it together since.  Sam Allardyce will love this game and, as Andy says, West Ham love dishing it out against United and I can see them winning this 2-1.

    Newcastle v Stoke

AG: Stoke have won their last three games but winning four in a row is always difficult in the Premier League and Newcastle will be confident after beating Hull 3-0 last week.  Home advantage is also a factor. 2-0.

RK: Stoke’s early season inconsistency has gone and they have found a system the players like. I still don’t know what to expect from Newcastle. 1-2.
