    1) Harry Kane (Tottenham Hotspur) – 7.62

The England striker put east London rivals West Ham to the sword with an emphatic brace at White Hart Lane. Having started the season sluggishly, the 22-year-old has started to hit top form and has now scored in five successive matches. Kane’s first goal was an instinctive finish from close-range before he scored his second after half-time with a well struck effort. He then came close to bagging a hat-trick towards the close and tormented the Hammers defence for the most part.

    2) Romelu Lukaku (Everton) 7.62

The Belgian is one of the Premier League’s in-form marksman and once again showed why he and Everton are a force to be reckoned with at Goodison Park. Lukaku grabbed a brace in the match either side of half-time and his first goal, a flicked header past Brad Guzan, was his 50th in the Premier League – making him only the fifth player to reach that milestone before his 23rd birthday. Lukaku had to thank his team-mates for his second goal as he finished off a wonderful free-flowing move to slot home.

    3) Riyad Mahrez (Leicester) – 7.57

Jamie Vardy may have stolen the headlines in Leicester’s rout over Newcastle for scoring in a record-equalling tenth successive match, but it was the Algerian winger who shone brightest with his wizardry and trickery down both flanks. The 24-year-old France-born star ripped the Magpies backline apart with incisive passing and helped the Foxes move to the top of the Premier League.

    4) John Stones (Everton) – 7.52

The young centre-back seems to bely his years with effortless displays at the heart of the Toffees defence and the England star has forged a strong understanding quickly with Argentin Ramiro Funes Mori, in the absence of captain Phil Jagielka. Stones commanded Aston Villa’s weak attack with ease and was the orchestrator behind many Everton attacks going forward in the 4-0 home success.

    5) Toby Alderweireld (Tottenham Hostpur) – 7.52

The Belgian centre-back showed his aerial prowess and threat from set-pieces to nod home Tottenham’s second goal in the 4-1 rout over West Ham. Alderweireld, who signed for the White Hart Lane club in the summer from Atletico Madrid after a loan stint at Southampton, has been a mainstay in Mauricio Pochettino’s backline and become a crucial part of Spurs’ make-up.
