    1) LUIS SUAREZ (BARCELONA) – 7.52

La Liga’s leading goalscorer Luis Suárez opened the scoring after six minutes, meeting Jordi Alba’s pinopoint cross at the far post to net his 12th goal in seven matches in all competitions and take his Primera Division tally for the season to 25. Suarez did miss a free header before half-time but made up for the error by creating the second goal for his team.

    2) JOSE MORALES (LEVANTE) – 7.43

Jose Morales scored one goal and set up two more as Levate beat Getafe 3-0 and provisionally rose out of last place. The winger opened the scoring with a typically penetrating run from the left, leaving two defenders for dead before rolling a shot into the far corner of the goal. The Spaniard then teed-up Giuseppe Rossi to add a penalty minutes before the break.

    3) MIKU (RAYO VALLECANO) – 7.38

Rayo Vallecano fought back from two goals down to deny Sevilla a first away win of the season, and Miku was the home side’s driving force. The Venezuelan was full of running and took advantage of a mistake between Rico and former Tottenham defender Federico Fazio to tap in the equaliser.

    4) JOHN GUIDETTI (CELTA VIGO) – 7.38

John Guidetti’s stellar year continued with two goals as Celta Vigo defeated Eibar. The Swede’s two goals either side of a Jonny strike assured their team a vital comfortable 3-0 lead as Eibar finished strongly with a brace to make it a close contest. Guidetti has a habit of being in the right place at the right time and keeps defenders honest with his pace.

    5) RAUL ALBENTOSA (MALAGA) – 7.29

A goal from on-loan defender Raul Albentosa earned Malaga a 1-1 draw against Spanish giants Real Madrid. The centre-back’s second goal this term came from a powerful close-range finish and cancelled out Cristiano Ronaldo’s first-half opener.
