YOU have direct influence on who appears in each Top Five so be sure to rate each weekend.

    1) ANTOINE GRIEZMANN (ATLETICO MADRID) – 8.33

Atletico Madrid striker Antoine Griezmann grabbed two goals as Diego Simeone’s men thrashed Real Betis 5-1.

The win meant that Atletico closed the gap on leaders Barcelona to just six points, with the French striker netting his 18th and 19th La Liga goals of the campaign.

The 25-year-old’s speed and predatory instinct in front of goal was too much for the Betis backline as he upped his tally to seven in seven games.

    2) JONATHAN VIERA (LAS PALMAS) – 7.52

Las Palmas poured more misery on struggling Valencia as Viera scored a second-half penalty in a 2-1 home victory.

The Spaniard equalised for the hosts with his seventh goal of the season, after Javi Fuego had been penalised for tugging Tana’s shirt.

    3) JUANFRAN (ATLETICO MADRID) – 7.50

The veteran defender scored a rare goal and Atletico’s third in the romping of Betis.

He ghosted in from the right-hand side and controlled a cross-field pass from Argentine Angel Correa before tucking the ball home.

Juanfran was the centre of attention during his celebration as team-mates and coaching staff mobbed the 31-year-old Spaniard near the dugout area.

    4) INIGO LEKUE (ATHLETIC BILBAO) – 7.38

Bibao’s quest for European football next term took a minor hit as the Basque side were held at home by lowly Granada.

But 22-year-old Lekue will undoubtedly remember the game for different reasons.

The Bilbao-born right-back netted his first goal for the club after a beautiful mazy run and dribble, which saw him chip the ball over the opposition defender and hammer the ball firmly into the corner of the net from just inside the penalty area.

    5) CRISTIANO RONALDO (REAL MADRID) – 7.36

The Portuguese star scored the winner in Saturday night’s El Clasico showdown to keep Real Madrid’s faint La Liga title hopes alive at the Nou Camp.

Ronaldo was quiet for large periods against Luis Enrique’s men but sprung to life in the second period as Real battled back from a goal down to level through Karim Benzema.

CR7 then struck the crossbar with a shot from the edge of the penalty area but he wasn’t to be denied.

And in the 86th minute, Gareth Bale delivered a floated cross with his weaker foot from the right-hand side, which Ronaldo exquisitely controlled on his chest at the back post while feinting to shoot – and in the process skipped by Dani Alves and rattled the ball home. 2-1. The title chase is still on for Zinedine Zidane’s men.
