1. LIONEL MESSI (BARCELONA) – 7.7
Messi rarely fails to influence a game for Barcelona, and his dazzling skills were on display again at Eibar. Luis Suarez spurned a chance set up by a perfect Messi through ball, but the duo would combine later to score Barcelona’s second, when the Argentine finished off a 1-2 with a cushioned strike. Denis Suarez’s first Barcelona goal also came thanks to the little maestro, as he slotted home the rebound after the captain’s attempt was blocked.

2. CARLOS SOLER (VALENCIA) – 7.6
Valencia were definite underdogs when they travelled to Villarreal for their derby on Saturday, but Los Che upset the applecart with a 2-0 win over the hosts. Carlos Soler starred in midfield for Valencia and scored his team’s opener, converting a cross with a smart left-footed finish. The strike was the 20-year-old’s first goal of the season.
3. VICENTE IBORRA (SEVILLA) – 7.6
Vicente Iborra’s fortunes epitomized a wild game on Saturday, which Sevilla eventually won 4-3. The Sevilla captain scored three times, although one of those was an own goal that put Osasuna back in front, after Iborra had earlier equalized. His second goal came minutes after his own goal, levelling the score at 2-2.

4. TONI KROOS (REAL MADRID) – 7.5
Sergio Ramos stole the headlines with his brace, but Toni Kroos ran the show against Malaga. Cristiano Ronaldo should have scored an early goal after receiving Kroos’ excellent through pass, while Kroos assisted both of Ramos’ goals. The German’s set-piece prowess was on display, as the goals came from a Kroos corner and a Kroos free-kick.
Toni Kroos has now recorded 9 assists this season, more than any other player in #LaLiga.

5. VICTOR LAGUARDIA (DEPORTIVO ALAVES) – 7.4
The Alaves defender has been a consistent performer at the back this season for a team who harbour genuine hopes of a top-half finish. Against Leganes on Saturday, Laguardia scored the game’s opening goal, his second of the season, in a man-of-the-match performance.
