Liverpool star Mohamed Salah has been urged to make a blockbuster move to Real Madrid by former Egypt international Hany Ramzy.

Salah has been in phenomenal form for the Reds this season with his 42 goals in all competitions helping to propel Jurgen Klopp’s side into a top-four spot domestically and into a Champions League final with Real on May 26.

Naturally, the rumour mill has hit overdrive with Los Blancos set for a huge spending spree in the summer and media outlets perpetually linking Salah with a move despite having only joined Liverpool from Roma last summer.

However, Ramzy, who coached the 25-year-old when in charge of Egypt’s under-23s team, is adamant now is the right time to make a step up.

“For him, it’s time. It’s (the) right time to transfer or to go to Real Madrid, especially because I think Real Madrid, (the) way they play… (it could) be a very, very good transfer for Salah, because he make(s) everything this season with Liverpool,” Ramzy explained.

“He was (their) best player, he was the top scorer and if he wait(s) until next year maybe he has not the chance (to move).”
