  • Mohamed Salah could be back for the World Cup.

Liverpool and Egypt star Mohamed Salah is dealing with a shoulder strain and should return in three weeks, according to his friend Aly Mazhar.

Mazhar is a former professional footballer and current fitness instructor, who played with Salah at Arab Contractors.

He posted on Facebook that the Egyptian star is looking at a timetable of three weeks for his return from the shoulder injury suffered in the Champions League final on Saturday.

Salah himself said he is “confident” he’ll be a part of Egypt’s campaign at the World Cup – the nation’s first since 1990.
