Mohamed Salah will start for Egypt in their World Cup clash against Russia on Tuesday, the team announced on Twitter when they released the line-up for the match.
Despite being on the bench, the star didn’t see the field in Egypt’s 1-0 loss to Uruguay in their World Cup opener as he continued to recover from a shoulder injury suffered during last month’s Champions League final against Real Madrid.
After scoring 44 goals in a phenomenal debut season at Liverpool, Salah will bolster Egypt’s attack as they attempt to advance out of Group A.
