    They first dominated Indian International School 6-1 and finished with a clean sheet against Wesgreen International School, winning 4-0.

    Abdullah Ejaz, who was declared man of the match, led NIMS against IIS with two goals and one assist while ace striker Mohammad Shafiq Taj again showed his nifty foot work and scored one goal.

    NIMS started strong and stamped their authority in the first half with a 3-1 lead before raising the tempo and scoring three more goals, including an own goal by Marwan Ali of IIS, in the second half.

    NIMS were up to their usual tricks in their second game against Wesgreen. Abdul Rahman scored a hat-trick and Taj added one more.

    They started slow and were 1-0 at the half time before pushing the tempo in the second half.

    NIMS manager Selvaraj Krishnan was pleased with effort.

    “For two consecutive weeks, my boys have played superbly. They made the wins look easy because they communicated well on the pitch. They kept the ball moving and they were ferocious on defence.”

    NIMS Sharjah also showed their dominance in the U16 division with 1-0 victory over Springdale Indian School and 3-1 result against English Speaking School of Kalba.

    Rashid Jafar scored the lone goal in NIMS victory over Springdale Indian School.

    In their subsequent match, NIMS scored all their three goals in the first half and coasted victory.

    Man-of-the-match Shoaib Shami scored two goals and dished out two assists in their match against English Speaking School of Kalba.

    Meanwhile, Al Kamal American School stamped their authority in U16 division.

    They dominated English Speaking School of Kalba with a 5-2 win before posting a convincing 2-1 victory over Delhi Private School Sharjah.

    Like the previous week, Hassan Fallous rose to the occasion and was named man of match after finishing with one goal and one assist while Abdullah Jamal found the back of the net against DPS.

    NIMS consolidate their position on top of the U14 table.
