Neymar was greeted by fans at Paris Saint-Germain‘s open training session at Parc des Princes on Wedensday.

Although the Brazilian wasn’t fit to participate in practice, he continues his recovery from an injury sustained in February.

It’s thought however that his participation at the upcoming World Cup is not in question.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid continue to keep tabs on his progress as they plot a huge bid in the summer.

Nice to know that even the superstars constantly linked with football’s big money transfers get bored with the incessant speculation surrounding them – including Neymar.

The Paris Saint-Germain star says he is tired of transfer talk amid ongoing links to Real Madrid and Manchester United.

The 26-year-old instead said he’d rather focus on the World Cup with Brazil next month when he was interviewed after picking up the Ligue 1 Player of the Season on Sunday.

“My goal now is the World Cup. It is not time to talk about transfers,” Neymar said. “I am a little tired of it now.”

PSG president Nasser Al Khelaifi said on Saturday he was “2000 per cent” sure Neymar would remain with the Ligue 1 champions, even though his prized possession is constantly being linked with a surprise exit after just one season in France, despite being contracted until 2022.

Neymar scored 28 goals in 30 games for PSG before his season was ended prematurely by a serious foot injury in February.

“Everyone knows what I have come here to do, the goals I have,” he added.

Paris Saint-Germain fans have been given some good news it would seem, after several players suggested that star striker Neymar is happy to stay with the Parisian giants.

Midfielder Adrien Rabiot and goalkeeper Kevin Trapp spoke to French media after their 2-0 Coupe de France final triumph over Les Herbiers completed a domestic treble.

“He’s here with us, he’s working hard and he really wants to stay here,” said Rabiot after the game, attended by the Brazilian icon.

“It means a lot for the team, the group. We haven’t seen him that much yet, but it’s great,” added stopper Trapp.
