Coming up is a weekend of weddings for Real Madrid players with Alvaro Morata, Lucas Vazquez, and Mateo Kovacic all tying the knot within 24 hours of each other.
Morata and his girlfriend, model Alice Campello, are getting married on Friday in Venice, with Vazquez and partner Macarena due to tie the knot the next day in Majadahonda. Most of the Real Madrid squad is expected to be in attendance for both.
Kovacic’s wedding is also on Saturday, in Croatia, so unfortunately many of his teammates will miss the occasion, although fellow Croatian star Luka Modric will be there.
The wedding dates are no coincidence, as all three couples picked dates that didn’t fall in the middle of football season and gave them enough time to go on a honeymoon before preseason began.
Morata, of course, is the subject of intense speculation over a move to Manchester United, with reports last week suggesting that the striker wants the transfer to be finalised before he goes on his honeymoon.
Madrid right-back Danilo gets married later this month, on June 30.
