Real Madrid defender Alvaro Odriozola has been ruled out of Wednesday’s UEFA Super Cup final clash with Atletico Madrid.
The 22-year-old right-back, who joined Los Blancos this summer from Real Sociedad, has sustained a thigh injury and is set to be out for up to two weeks.
Odriozola featured regularly during the Whites’ pre-season campaign but will not travel to Tallinn with the rest of the squad.
It is expected he will be available for Real’s second La Liga match of the season, away to Girona.
