    12:16pm: Sergio Ramos becomes most booked man in Champions League history

    Los Blancos legend Sergio Ramos is a man loved and hated in equal measure – and like his former teammate, Cristiano Ronaldo, the defender made the news for all the wrong reasons this week.

    After being shown a yellow card in the 23rd minute of Real Madrid’s 3-0 win over Roma for a foul on Steven N’Zonzi, Ramos became the most booked player in the history of the Champions League with 37 bookings.

    He takes the title from former Manchester United midfielder Paul Scholes.
