    Ganzo – Sao Paulo to Sevilla – €9.5m (Dh38.5m)

The Brazil playmaker has finally earned the chance to shine in Europe after the Europa League holders completed his transfer.

The 26-year-old came up at Santos alongside superstar Neymar, but a series of knee injuries have hindered his progress.

    Emanuele Giaccherini – Sunderland to Napoli – €2.4m (Dh8.1m)

The winger is a regular for Italy, but never managed to settle in the north east of England. He departs the Premier League side after scoring five times in 43 games. He impressed on loan at Bologna in 2015/16 and will hope to have a similar impact.

Saido Berahino – West Brom to Crystal Palace – €23.9m (Dh96.9m)

The Eagles are reported to have turned to the insolent striker after their chase for Liverpool’s Christian Benteke reached a dead end. The Sun has stated a bid has been lodged for the England Under-21 international, who has scored 36 goals in 113 West Brom matches.

Alvaro Arbeloa – Real Madrid to AC Milan – Free

The Rossoneri are believed to have turned to the Spain defender to add experience to their defence. Arbeloa, 33, is available on a free transfer after his deal expired in Madrid. Mediaset Premium have said a one-year deal has been agreed, with an option for one more.

    Jeremy Mathieu – Barcelona to Besiktas – €7m (Dh28.4m)

The versatile France defender could be on his way to the Super Lig champions, if reports from NTVSpor.net are to be believed. Besiktas have lodged their bid after becoming frustrated in a pursuit of club-mate Thomas Vermaelen, who wants to stay at Barca.
