Swansea’s summer clearout continued on Friday with the news that striker Bafetimbi Gomis has joined Ligue 1 side Marseille on loan.

However, the Swans’ loyal support will hope speculation over the future of Ghana star Andre Ayew is little more than conjecture.

Sport360 rounds-up that and all the best of the day’s transfer news.

Bafetimbi Gomis, Swansea to OM, loan (Done Deal)

Gomis promised much but delivered little. He arrived at Swansea having scored 54 goals in the previous three seasons with Lyon but managed only 13 in 64 outings for the South Wales outfit.

He will now hope to get his career back on track in Ligue 1 with OM.

Adriano, Barcelona to Besiktas, €600,000 (Done Deal)

The Blaugrana have allowed another fullback to leave in this transfer window as the 31-year-old Adriano follows Dani Alves out the door.

The Brazil international’s signature is a major boost for the Turkish club’s Champions League aspirations.

Brad Guzan, Aston Villa to Middlesbrough, free (Done Deal)

    Boro-bound: Brad Guzan.

    Boro-bound: Brad Guzan.

The 31-year-old USA international has signed a two-year deal and is likely to provide back-up at Premier League newboys Boro to former Barcelona and Spain stopper Victor Valdes, who joined earlier this summer.

Guzan made 34 appearances for relegated Villa last term.

Andre Ayew, Swansea to West Ham, €19 million (In Talks)

The Hammers have enquired about the availability of the Swansea striker.

Ayew attracted interest from West Ham last summer, but joined the Swans on a free transfer and went on to score 12 goals during his debut season in the Premier League.

Jese Rodriguez, Real Madrid to PSG, loan (Reported)

According to reports in Spain and France the Ligue 1 champs are interested in signing the Madrid forward.

PSG boss Unai Emery wants an attacker who can play on the wing or up front and Jese is one of his preferred targets.
