Kaboul started last week’s defeat at Manchester City but has clearly left manager David Moyes unimpressed after signing a three-year contract at Watford. Juventus midfielder Roberto Pereyra is also close to sealing a switch to Vicarage Road.

The Colombian’s agent was in London yesterday to discuss another season-long loan switch to the Serie A champs. Cuadrado enjoyed a successful spell in Turin last season, hallmarked by his assist for Alvaro Morata’s
