  • Mamadou Sakho.

The rush is on… With just three weeks to go until the end of the January transfer window, clubs are scrambling for last minute additions as they attempt to bolster their squads for the rest of the season.

Sport360 brings you latest news on some of the latest big transfers.

MANU GARCIA (Manchester City to NAC Breda)

    LOAN – DONE DEAL

The 19-year-old has joined the Dutch side on loan until the end of the season after he had his previous loan at La Liga outfit Alaves cut short. The Spaniard was due to spend the season in Spain after he joined in August but made only one appearance.

    ROBERTO GAGLIARDINI (Atalanta to Internazionale)
    LOAN – DONE DEAL

An initial loan which will become a transfer worth an estimated €25million (Dh93m) in the summer. The move to the San Siro caps a stratospheric rise for the 22-year-old who has only played 14 Serie A games but has been drafted into Giampiero Ventura’s Italy squad.

    FRANCK KASSIE (Atalanta to Everton)
    £30m (Dh133m) – IN TALKS

The Toffees are making all the moves in this transfer window but have hit a snag in their attempts to sign the Ivory Coast striker after a £15m bid was rejected by the Serie A club. The 20-year-old is a target of Chelsea, too, having scored six times in 16 games this season.

    MAMADOU SAKHO (Liverpool to Southampton)
    £20m (Dh89m) – NEW TARGET

After a pre-season bust up with Jurgen Klopp, the France defender has been consigned to Liverpool’s U-23 team as he seeks a move away from Anfield. With Jose Fonte angling for a transfer, the Saints are willing to pay the £20m asking price to bolster their defence.

JAMES MCCARTHY (Everton to West Brom)
    £20m (Dh89m) – NEW TARGET

Loan bids have been rejected with the club only interested in selling McCarthy. That’s unlikely to deter West Brom. He’s been on the outside looking in with summer signing Idrissa Gueye and Gareth Barry preferred at the base of Ronald Koeman’s midfield.
