  • DIEGO COSTA AND THE CHINESE CONNECTION

The Brazilian-born Spain international has been subject to controversy for club and country, hardly shying away from having moments under the spotlight on and off the pitch.

Forced onto the bench during the recent FA Cup tie, this isn’t the first time Antonio Conte has sidelined the striker in an important game. Costa has made it clear life in London isn’t one he wishes to pursue amid reports in January about a possible move to China.

    RATING: 7/10

SPORT360 VERDICT: Despite a reduced lead to four points, Chelsea are still favourites to lift the Premier League trophy. Complaining about life in the English capital since Mourinho’s second spell at Chelsea, the 28-year-old is unlikely to feature next campaign, particularly with Chelsea heavily linked to secure the services of Romelu Lukaku. If the Belgian doesn’t return to Stamford Bridge then Conte will attempt to break the bank for Inter’s Mauro Icardi.

    PAULO DYBALA TO REAL MADRID

The Argentine has flourished in the Serie A this campaign, taking his career to new heights following an awe-inspiring performance against Barcelona in the Champions League.

Paulo Dybala is destined for great feats and Real Madrid president Florentine Perez wants to ensure the former Palermo forward will unlock his full potential for Los Blancos next season.

According to Spanish outlet Don Balon, Perez wishes to reunite Morata with Juventus and add James Rodriguez into the mix in exchange for the highly talented 23-year-old.

    RATING: 6/10

SPORT360 VERDICT: It will be difficult for Juventus to keep Dybala considering his surge in popularity. Although he recently signed a new long term deal at the club, there remains a possibility that he could leave this summer.

    MARCO VERRATTI TO BAYERN MUNICH

The Italian has been at the heartbeat of PSG’s exploits this season, and despite enjoying life in the French capital, he could be headed for an exit this summer.

According to Bild, Bayern Munich have set their sights on Verratti as Ancelotti believes he is the primary candidate to fill their midfield vacancy next season.

    RATING: 6/10

SPORT360 VERDICT: With Xabi Alonso retiring at the end of the season, Carlo Ancelotti has been given the difficult task of replacing the midfield maestro. The former AC Milan tactician has complimented Verratti, name-checking the playmaker as “the best of all” in an interview with Radio Anch’io Sport. The former Pescara man has a wealth of experience in elite competition and could be a perfect fit for the Bavarians to help them in their pursuit for Champions League glory.
