  • Every day we will be keeping you updated with the latest transfer rumours as the season draws to a close and the window opens up…

    LIONEL MESSI

AS have reported that the Barcelona icon has turned down an offer from the club to extend his contract beyond June 2018. The news has sparked rumours of a move away from Camp Nou for the Argentine.

    Rating: 8/10

Sport360 Verdict: Messi may indeed have turned down Barcelona’s offer but it is thought to be only their first. Declining an initial offer is hardly cause for alarm.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner is understandably in no rush to sort out a new deal and will bide his time until an improved offer comes along.

    KYLIAN MBAPPE

According to Marca, the AS Monaco starlet has set his sights on a move to Real Madrid and has asked his agents to work on a deal.

    Rating: 6/10

Sport360 Verdict: We can’t stop hearing about the 18-year-old sensation but the truth is the transfer speculation surrounding him is only just starting.

Of course, most players would love to play for Madrid but where exactly would he fit in? That’s never been an issue for Los Blancos when signing players. They’re more of a ‘buy first, figure out how they fit in later’ kind of club.

But Mbappe’s advisers will know that the forward has plenty of time ahead of him and a move to arguably the biggest club in the world at this juncture of his career could prove risky.

    LACAZETTE

According to French radio station RMC, Alexandre Lacazette has opted for a move to Atletico Madrid this summer.

Lyon’s president has confirmed that the Frenchman has been in talks with the La Liga outfit for over two years.

    Rating: 9/10

Sport360 Verdict: It would seem that this deal is only a matter of time. A move to Atletico would see Lacazette play and compete in one of the bigger leagues. The La Liga club has proved to be a haven for strikers in the past with virtually every main front man enjoying prolific spells at the Vincente Calderon.

With Antoine Griezmann seemingly on his way out this summer, Lacazette would help fill the void left by his compatriot. He also offers Diego Simeone a different option as a striker who can hold up play on his own but is also capable of using his pace to run in behind.

    JOHN TERRY

The Sun claim that the Chelsea defender has been offered the chance to join Chinese Super League side Tianjin Quanjian.

Terry leaves Chelsea this summer but has been linked with the likes of Bournemouth, Stoke and West Brom.

    Rating: 4/10

Sport360 Verdict: It’s difficult to see Terry picking up and moving to China especially when he does still have plenty to offer in the Premier League. One of the lesser clubs would love to avail of his services.
