    BENJAMIN MENDY

Manchester City made the first big move in the transfer market on Friday with the signing of Bernardo Silva from Monaco, and the Independent reports another player may soon be swapping the principality for the north-west.

Left-back Benjamin Mendy is apparently the next target for City, who could also move for Tottenham’s Kyle Walker.

The highly-rated defender, who was a star player in the Ligue 1 side’s run to the Champions League semi-final, is also attracting interest from the red side of Manchester.

Mendy, who could cost £30million, is expected to desire more top European football next season, which strengthens City’s immediate case.

    RATING: 5/10

SPORT360 VERDICT: Mendy is contracted at Monaco until 2021, and despite an impressive Ligue 1 season which has attracted serious interest, expect the young Frenchman to stay at Stade Louis II.

    JAN OBLAK

The Manchester Evening News are reporting that Manchester United could target Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak, if goalkeeper David de Gea leaves this summer.

To add further interest to the saga, Goal is reporting Real Madrid – the likeliest destination for De Gea – are keen to take Oblak across the city too.

    VERDICT: 7/10

SPORT360 RATING: Oblak is considered top of Manchester United’s radar should De Gea opt to sign for Real Madrid. At 24, he’s seen as a long term replacement for the Spaniard at Old Trafford. The Slovenian was instrumental for Atletico this season, conceding just 21 goals all campaign.

    KELECHI IHEANACHO

The Sun reports Pablo Zabaleta could persuade Manchester City striker Kelechi Iheanacho to move to West Ham.

The Nigerian is under contract until 2021, but given his options are limited under Pep Guardiola, he has been tipped with a move away from the Etihad Stadium this summer.

The 20-year-old has started only five games this season and with Gabriel Jesus in sparkling form, it could be a similar case next campaign.

    RATING: 7/10

SPORT360 VERDICT: First team football would do Iheanacho wonders and a move to West Ham would offer this opportunity. Although a fee of £20 million is a lot for a striker who has had limited game time, Slaven Bilic needs to take a risk if he wants his side firing next season.
