    FABIO COENTRAO

The Whites full-back is set to leave the Santiago Bernabeu this summer and is closing in on a switch to Sporting Lisbon.

Coentrao, 29, who wasn’t part of Real Madrid’s winning Champions League squad in Cardiff, managed just six appearances last season and is widely expected to move back to Portugal’s top flight this summer.

Despite having two years left on his contract, Lisbon will step up their interest in the defender in the coming weeks.

A loan deal is the most likely at this stage with a view to a permanent switch at the end of next season, according to Marca.

    RATING: 9/10

    SPORT360 VERDICT:
It’s remarkable that Coentrao has been at Los Blancos since the summer of 2011 but the Portuguese has never really been first-choice at the club. With competition being fierce in Real’s defence, Zinedine Zidane will seek to move for the former Benfica man during the close season.

Time’s up for the left-back at Madrid.

    IVAN PERISIC

Bayern Munich are preparing a last-minute bid to hijack Manchester United’s hopes of signing Ivan Perisic.

The Croatian is widely tipped to leave Inter Milan this summer and La Gazzetta dello Sport had reported that the Red Devils were at the front of the queue to sign the attacker.

But Carlo Ancelotti’s men have not given up hope of signing the 28-year-old and will reportedly table a bid in the region of £40 million in the coming weeks.

The former Borussia Dortmund man enjoyed a strong season at the San Siro, scoring 11 goals in all competitions, but is keen to play Champions League football next term.

    RATING: 7/10

    SPORT360 VERDICT:
The versatile Inter star is a man very much in the mold Jose Mourinho admires and this transfer saga is likely to be won by the highest bidder. Expect it to be a long, drawn-out process this summer…

    SEAD KOLASINAC

The Schalke defender is likely to be unveiled as Arsenal’s first summer signing, according to Sport Bild.

The Gunners are keen to waste little time in strengthening their squad and view the Bosnian left-back as a star of the future.

Arsene Wenger is expected to complete a deal for the player within the next 24 hours.

    RATING: 8/10

    SPORT360 VERDICT:
Arsenal want to do their transfer business early and are likely to make the 23-year-old an early signing.
