    ALVARO MORATA

According to the Daily Telegraph, Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata has agreed to join Manchester United and is waiting for the two clubs to agree a fee of around £60m before making the move to Old Trafford.

Meanwhile, the Guardian adds that Morata’s representative, Juanma Lopez, had talks with Real Madrid representatives on Friday to pave the way for the former Juventus player’s move to United.

    RATING: 9/10

    SPORT360 VERDICT:
This link has escalated rather quickly and now appears inevitable. It makes sense for United and Morata and has everything to be a great fit. Although the price-tag is more than double what Real spent to buy him back from Juventus just a year ago, in this inflated market, it’s oddly reasonable.

    ALEX SANDRO

Chelsea must pay Juventus £52m for Brazil defender Alex Sandro, reports the London Evening Standard.

The 26-year-old still has three years left on his contract which gives Juventus the upper hand in negotiations.

    RATING: 5/10

    SPORT360 VERDICT:
Given that Antonio Conte used to work with the player and more importantly, as wing-back, there’s every chance that he’d want to bring him to England. However, Marcos Alonso has been a revelation on the left side and the quoted price is a bit steep for someone who is guaranteed a starting berth.

    SERGE AURIER

Tottenham could try to sign Paris Saint-Germain right-back Serge Aurier if England international Kyle Walker, moves to Manchester City, the Daily Mirror reports.

    RATING: 6/10

    SPORT360 VERDICT:
It would be a smart switch especially with links between Walker and City growing. Aurier has had a couple of run ins with the manager and club at Paris but his performances have been top notch. Spurs do have Kevin Trippier to take over at right-back but pride themselves on having strength in depth.

    WHAT ELSE IS GOING ON

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been released by Manchester United but while some have speculated that the Swede may choose to retire, he apparently has no plans to hang up his boots just yet.

Arsenal may be trying to sign a new striker with Kylian Mbappe and Romelu Lukaku linked, but Olivier Giroud sent Arsene Wenger a timely reminder of his quality.
