Alexis Sanchez has been linked with a move away from Arsenal for months and Bayern Munich have been one of the clubs keeping an eye on the situation.
The forward has been courted by some of the best clubs in the world and while Manchester City remains his most likely destination, Bayern boss Carlo Ancelotti definitely rates the 28-year-old.
The Italian however believes that the transfer fees being quoted in the current window are well over the odds and refuses to have the Bundesliga champions spend “crazy money”.
Sanchez has just one year left on his contract, as does Mesut Ozil, making both players candidates for a move away.
In the video below, the Ancelotti speaks about the Arsenal star.
While Real Madrid forward Gareth Bale didn’t really have the kind of 2016-17 season he would have liked personally, the Welsh international would have been proud to play his part as and when named on the team-sheet by Zinedine Zidane.
In Los Blancos’ Duodecima campaign, Bale scored nine goals, seven of them came in La Liga while two were scored in the Champions League.
Although injury kept him out for most of the season, Bale did feature in 17 Liga games for Zidane’s men.
With him being linked to Manchester United and a Premier League return looking increasingly probable, it will be interesting to see if Bale does consider that option.
The video below though, from Real Madrid’s official YouTube channel shows some of Bale’s best La Liga goals from last season.
Manchester United have been closely linked with a move for Nemanja Matic this summer.
Former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is eager to work with the midfielder again and sees him as the man who could anchor United’s midfield and bring the best out of Paul Pogba.
With Michael Carrick in the twilight of his career, the 28-year-old Matic would be a good replacement.
Chelsea are reportedly chasing AS Monaco’s Tiemoue Bakayoko, paving the way for Matic to Old Trafford.
The video below takes a closer look at the defensive midfielder.
