    FABINHO

According to L’Equipe, Manchester United target Fabinho is ready to push through a move to Old Trafford.

The Brazilian has told Monaco that he wants to quit the club and expects the Ligue 1 outfit to respect his wishes.

However, the defensive midfielder won’t come cheap. Monaco have already rejected a £40m bid from domestic rivals PSG.

    SPORT360 VERDICT

Having secured a striker and centre-back so far this summer in Romelu Lukaku and Victor Lindelof, United are no doubt in a rush to complete the rest of their signings as early as possible.

Fabinho would be an excellent addition to the team as Jose Mourinho shops for a defensive midfielder who could help free up Paul Pogba and unlock his true potential.

After the Monaco midfielder’s quotes a couple of weeks ago, speaking of his admiration for United, it’s clear the player is desperate for the move. It’s up to United to reach and agreement with the French side.

    KYLIAN MBAPPE

According to Marca, Real Madrid have gone back to AS Monaco to make another approach for teen sensation Kylian Mbappe.

The Spanish giants have not given up in their pursuit of the youngster who is also being chased by Arsenal and PSG.

    RATING: 6/10

    SPORT360 VERDICT

If there’s any club out there who will be able to sign Mbappe this summer, it’s Real Madrid. They have the money, allure and persistence to get the job done. They may even opt to sign him and loan him back to the Ligue 1 champions for another season.

Madrid have been uncharacteristically quiet this summer and you get the sense that the peace won’t last long.

    OLIVIER GIROUD

The Mail on Sunday report that Everton will bid for Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud.

Despite signing Wayne Rooney from Manchester United with Romelu Lukaku going in the opposite direction, the understanding is that they require another No9 who the 31-year-old can play off.

Giroud scored 12 Premier League goals last season and would make a good target for the Merseyside club.

    RATING: 6/10

    SPORT360 VERDICT

The Arsenal striker appears to have fallen down the pecking order at the Emirates stadium with Arsene Wenger recruiting Alexandre Lacazette from Ligue 1.

With the World Cup next year, Giroud will want to see as much playing time as possible and would suit Everton. It could prove to be a very good move.
