  • Another day in football, another wave of transfer rumours to keep up on. Take a look at the most recent names and gossip being floated around in the media.

Will any of the following deals happen?

Let us know your thoughts by getting in touch via Twitter and Facebook.

    DELE ALLI

Barcelona are weighing up a bid for Tottenham Hotspur attacker Dele Alli following Neymar’s world record move to Paris Saint Germain.

The Catalan giants have just four weeks to find a replacement for the Brazilian and have cited Alli as one of their five potential candidates.

The 21-year-old is well down the pecking order on Spurs top earners list so it may prove difficult to hold on to him – should Barcelona submit a substantial bid before the end of the transfer window.

    RATING: 3/10

    SPORT360 VERDICT

With Kyle Walker signing for Manchester City earlier this summer, it is unlikely Spurs would sanction Alli’s departure.

If anything Mauricio Pochettino is looking to bolster his squad, and with Alli scoring 18 goals and providing seven assists last season, the club will be keen to hang on to their prized asset.

    MANUEL LANZINI

West Ham have reportedly accelerated contract talks with Manuel Lanzini amid significant transfer interest from Liverpool.

The Argentine is believed to be one of Jurgen Klopp’s chief targets if he is to lose star man Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona.

The Hammers are trying to tie down the 25-year-old with a new contract following a stunning season, in which he registered eight goals in 31 appearances for Slaven Bilic’s side.

    RATING: 5/10

    SPORT360 VERDICT

West Ham will be desperate to keep hold of their star man, and with Dimitri Payet returning to France midway through last season, Lanzini has stepped up to become one of the Hammers marquee men.

Although he has three years remaining on his current deal, a move to Anfield would offer improved terms and the opportunity to challenge for trophies under a vastly improving side.

    THOMAS VERMAELEN

Everton are targeting Barcelona defender Thomas Vermaelen as Ronald Koeman’s side look to fight for trophies home and abroad this season.

The Belgian is said to be available at a cut-price after long injury spells at the Camp Nou where he made only 11 appearances before being loaned out to Roma.

He can play at centre back or left back and would provide the Toffees with experience and steel this campaign.

    RATING: 7/10

    SPORT360 VERDICT

At 31, Vermaelen has plenty of footballing ability left in him, but his constant injuries would act as a real concern if Koeman is to take him to Goodison Park.

Whilst fans are still keen on another striker following the departure of Romelu Lukaku to Manchester United, a left-footed defender also seems to be a key priority for Koeman.

It’s a risk, but his experience would certainly be valuable for an exciting young team.
