Atletico Madrid have signed full-back Jesus Gamez from Malaga on a three-year contract.
The 29-year-old has spent his entire career at La Rosaleda, making 266 league appearances for Malaga, but swaps the south coast for the capital and a shot at defending the Primera Division title.
Atletico director of sport Jose Luis Perez Caminero told the club’s official website: “Gamez is a right-back with quality and expertise that strengthens our defence and improves the verticality of the team.”
