    MARCUS RASHFORD

Marcus Rashford could be in line for a sensational move to the Nou Camp after it has emerged Barcelona are interested in the young England forward.

According to the Daily Express, Blaugrana are ready to launch a late raid for the 19-year-old who has quickly become a key man for Jose Mourinho’s side.

While the Red Devils have high hopes for their home-grown academy product going forward, the report suggests Barca could be ready to table a bid in the region of £150m plus for his services.

Although the sale of Neymar to PSG for a world-record £198m fee helped to swell the Catalan club’s coffers, Ousmane Dembele’s imminent arrival from Borussia Dortmund for £138m eats into a large chunk of that income.

However, Barca are still focused on bringing in more striking talent to help Lionel Messi – who has yet to sign his new contract extension at the club as he wants to wait and see what business the club do before the August 31 deadline.

Rashford, who has reportedly yet to sign a new contract at Old Trafford could just be that man to further boost morale at the Spanish giants following a difficult summer and start to the season.

    ROSS BARKLEY

The long-term future of the Everton midfielder could be decided this week, according to Sky Sports.

Late bids for the wantaway midfielder, who refused to sign a new contract this summer, are likely to be forthcoming before the transfer deadline – with Chelsea and Tottenham both linked with his signature.

Toffees boss Ronald Koeman admitted there have so far been no offers on the table for the 23-year-old and that Everton won’t be forced to sell him on the cheap.

The England international missed most of pre-season through injury and could make his way back into the first-team picture at Goodison if he stays beyond the window.

While that isn’t the best scenario for all parties, it remains to be seen whether a fellow Premier League side can come up with a proposal for the boyhood blue.

    VIRGIL VAN DIJK

Southampton will not be bullied into selling the Dutch star and are prepared to fight off late bids from Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea for his signature.

According to the Daily Express, the wantaway centre-back will not be allowed to leave St Mary’s as the club’s board continue their strong stance over his future.

The 26-year-old, who submitted a transfer request earlier this month, only signed a new six-year contract last summer and the Saints want him to stay despite his willingness to leave.

However, a late big-money bid from one of the Premier League’s elite clubs could tempt the Red and Whites to make a u-turn over the former Celtic defender.
