Arsenal defender Shkodran Mustafi is set to move to Inter Milan before Thursday’s transfer window deadline as the two clubs frantically try to agree a fee for the German.
Arsene Wenger is reportedly happy to allow the former Valencia man to leave the Emirates, exactly 12 months after shelling out £35m on his signature.
The Gunners want to recoup most of the fee they paid for the 25-year-old and are commanding at least £25m.
So far, according to Corriere dello Sport, the Serie A giants have only made an approach worth around £22m.
With little time left in the window to strike a deal, it’s up to Inter to match Arsenal’s expectations.
