    STEFAN DE VRIJ

Liverpool are weighing up a move to sign Lazio defender Stefan de Vrij next summer, according to the Daily Mirror.

De Vrij is out of contract at the end of the season and has yet to agree fresh terms, with Borussia Dortmund, Lazio and Juventus also reportedly keen on the centre-half.

The former Feyenoord star endured an injury-hit 2016-17 campaign with the Serie A club but is still very much on Jurgen Klopp’s radar and a bid of around €15m could be accepted.

    RATING: 7/10

    SPORT360 VERDICT

The powerful centre-back would be a welcome addition to Liverpool’s squad and his presence in defence offers something completely different to what the Reds have at the moment.

    BRAHIM DIAZ

Real Madrid are tracking Manchester City forward Brahim Diaz.

The Spanish under-21 international was impressive during pre-season for Pep Guardiola’s side and scored against Real Madrid in the ICC tournament in the United States.

Madrid’s approach to the transfer market has changed recently, and instead of signing marquee names, they have opted for young elite players such as Marco Asensio, Vinícius Júnior and Jesús Vallejo.

And with Diaz thriving in recent weeks, Los Blancos have been scouting the 18-year-old intensely with the idea of adding him to their ranks next summer.

    RATING: 6/10

    SPORT360 VERDICT

Diaz is considered one of the best teenagers in European football and Pep Guardiola has been keeping him close to the first team with the view to integrating him in the coming years.

He can play out wide or in the no. 10 role, and could certainly be a future star at the Bernabeu if he is managed in the right way.
