    ALEXIS SANCHEZ

Manchester City will not launch a bid for Alexis Sanchez in January and will instead wait til next summer to try and sign him on a free transfer, according to the Daily Mirror.

City boss Pep Guardiola is keen to reunite with the Chilean international, who is out of contract at the end of the season.

Italian giants AC Milan and Ligue 1 heavyweights Paris Saint-Germain are among the other clubs interested in securing his services.

    RATING: 8/10

    SPORT360 VERDICT

An approach from Pep Guardiola’s side would certainly interest the Chilean, and with a salary of around €332,000 per week, it’s a move not to rule out just yet.

Although he has been linked with a move to England’s north-west before, it is likely the deal will go through next summer.

    JOSE ARNAIZ

Arsenal and Manchester United are interested in signing Barcelona winger Jose Arnaiz, according to Mundo Deportivo .

The 22-year-old made a goalscoring debut during Barcelona’s win over Real Muricia in the Copa Del Rey last week.

He currently has a €20 million release clause, and could be on the move again soon.

    RATING: 7/10

    SPORT360 VERDICT

If Arsenal or Manchester United attempts to sign the Spaniard, it’ll be a bargain buy at €20 million.

Although Arnaiz is nowhere close to being a senior player, he represents a solid option in attack with Alexis Sanchez and possibly Zlatan Ibrahimovic departing at the end of the season.

    PALMIERI

Liverpool are set to make a €25 million offer for Roma left-back Emerson Palmieri in January, according to GazzaMercato .

Jurgen Klopp is believed to be eyeing the 22-year-old as he is desperate to add more solidity to the defence after leaking 16 goals already this season.

The Brazilian was previously a target for Liverpool before suffering a knee injury in May.

    RATING: 6/10

    SPORT360 VERDICT

The Reds are unhappy with Alberto Moreno’s recent performances and want Palmieri to replace him in the team.

It’s also believed that Klopp will offer Palmieri a five-year deal, showing that the club are ready to put their faith in him for the long-term.
