With Manchester United and Arsenal have been trying to reach an agreement over the transfer of Alexis Sanchez.
Having taken the lead over Manchester City in the race to sign the Chilean, the Reds are expected to complete the transfer imminently.
United have been willing to meet Arsenal’s £35m asking price while also offering Henrikh Mkhitaryan as part of the deal.
That particular facet of the agreement looked more likely as the Armenian was left out of United’s squad to face Stoke City at Old Trafford on Monday night.
Could this mean that the Mkhitaryan-Sanchez swap is on?
