Aubameyang looks to be on his way to the Gunners.

An agreement has been reached between Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Sky Sports have reported that the £60million deal will be completed as soon as the Bundesliga side sign a replacement for the 28-year-old.

Athletic Bilbao have confirmed that Aymeric Laporte‘s release clause, believed to be £57m has been triggered.

Laporte is in Manchester to finalise his move to Manchester City, according to the BBC and he posted a farewell message on his official Twitter account thanking them for their support during his time at the club.

The 23-year-old would provide depth at centre-back for City boss Pep Guardiola, whose spending on defenders since last season would reach £190m if Laporte signs.

Eskerrik asko, bihotzez. Aymeric Laporte

Manchester United forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic is being linked with a move to Major League soccer side Los Angeles Galaxy.

United boss Jose Mourinho said: “If that is true and Zlatan wants a future in another club in another country we are here to help and to create conditions for that to happen, not to make his life difficult.”

An LA Galaxy source told the BBC though that it was nothing more than “rumours at present”.

Mourinho also said he wants to keep Marouane Fellaini at Old Trafford as the midfielder’s future remains in doubt.

Leonardo Ulloa has returned to Brighton on loan until the end of the season from Leicester.

The Argentinian forward returns to the south coast club after three-and-a-half-years with the Foxes.

Brighton boss Chris Hughton said: “We’re delighted to welcome Leo back to the club. He’s scored goals at Premier League level and will further strengthen our attacking options.”

Diafra Sakho has left the Hammers.

Diafra Sakho has left West ham to join French side Rennes on a two-and-a-half-year contract for an undisclosed fee.

Sakho has spent the last three-and-a-half-years at the Hammers scoring 24 goals in 71 appearances.

West Ham are keen to sign Everton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin and are prepared to pay £20m.
West Brom have signed defender Ali Gabr from Zamalek.

The move will see the Egyptian join on loan until the end of the season with a view to make it a permanent switch in the summer.

Former Everton and Australian international Tim Cahill is expected to complete his return to Millwall 20 years after starting his career there. The 38-year-old free agent is currently undergoing a medical.

Newcastle have made enquiries to take Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge on loan for the rest of the season.

Rafael Benitez hopes to add Sturridge and number one target Feyenoord striker Nicolai Jorgensen to his squad before the transfer window closes on Wednesday night.

The Magpies are one point clear of relegation and Benitez is keen to add more firepower to his squad, but he faces competition from West Brom who are in pole position to sign Birmingham-born Sturridge.

Decisions to make: Jurgen Klopp.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp won’t be rushed into spending the money received for Philippe Coutinho finding his replacement.

Coutinho ended his long-running transfer saga by signing for Barcelona at the start of January’s transfer window.

Liverpool, who signed defender Virgil van Dijk for £75m, are reported to have received around £146m for the Brazilian.

Antonio Conte says Chelsea need Michy Batshuayi, even if the Blues sign another striker.

Batshuayi scored twice in Sunday’s 3-0 FA Cup fourth-round win over Newcastle at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea have been linked with Roma’s Edin Dzeko and Arsenal forward Olivier Giroud, while Batshuayi has been the subject of speculation of a loan move to Sevilla and elsewhere.

Conte said: “If you see our squad, we don’t have three, four, five strikers. We have two strikers: (Alvaro) Morata and Batshuayi.

Sky also reported on Monday morning that Blues forward Charly Musonda had arrived in Glasgow ahead of a proposed loan move to Celtic.

Emery insists he wants Pastore to stay at PSG.

Paris Saint-Germain coach Unai Emery insisted on Monday he wants midfielder Javier Pastore to stay at the French leaders despite reported interest from Inter Milan.

With the World Cup fast approaching, Argentine Pastore is desperate for more playing time, but he has slipped down the PSG pecking order.

The 28-year-old joined the club from Palermo in 2011 as the first major acquisition of the Qatari ownership era, but recent signings Kylian Mbappe, Neymar and Julian Draxler are limiting his chances.

When Brazilian star Neymar arrived in the summer, Pastore diplomatically handed over his No.10 shirt to the world’s most expensive player – and also lost his place in the team.

“I want Javier Pastore to stay here with us. It’s better for the team,” Emery said on Monday of the player that club captain Thiago Silva accused of angling for a way out by returning late from the winter break.

Pastore has seen very few minutes of action this season.

Pastore has seen very few minutes of action this season.

Emery acknowledged that Pastore may be keen on a move.

“I’ve spoken to him a great deal. What he says outside to others is something else, that’s his responsibility,” the Spanish coach said.

“Pastore is a great player. When he’s fit he’s an important element here.

“My opinion is that I want him to stay. But then it’s up to him to see what he wants for himself.

“With the World Cup (coming up), all players want to play more.”

Possessing sublime skills but with a tendency to disappear from games, Pastore has played 17 times in all competitions this season for PSG but featured only twice in 2017 for Argentina.

And he has left little doubt as to what his intentions are.

“I need to play much, much more and try and get to the World Cup,” he said on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Inter Milan director Piero Ausilio said on Sunday he had a “feeling” for Pastore.

Could he leave for Serie A? Can.

Juventus general manager Giuseppe Marotta said on Monday that the Serie A champions would do all they could to land Liverpool‘s German international Emre Can.

“We will do everything to take Emre Can,” Marotta told RMC Sport of the 24-year-old defensive midfielder, whose contract expires in June 2018.

“We’ve made the first contacts with his entourage, but it does not mean achieving our goal.

“It will not be easy because Liverpool themselves will try to renew the contract, without forgetting the alternative possibility that other top European clubs will try to reach agreement with him. But I repeat our attempt will be made with every effort possible.”

Marotta expressed satisfaction that Juventus were on target for a seventh straight Serie A title as they sit just one point behind leaders Napoli.

“We’re now in the intermediary stage of the season, we are sailing in optimum position to achieve all the objectives we have set out.

“The aim is to go all the way in all competitions, to continue on this path in the league, beat Tottenham in the Champions League and Atalanta in the Italian Cup.”

Juventus play Atalanta in the Italian Cup semi-final, first leg on Tuesday and English side Tottenham in the Champions league last-16 first leg on February 13.
