Mesut Ozil has ended speculation over his Arsenal future by signing a new contract with the Gunners.
The playmaker, whose contract was due to expire at the end of the season, has agreed lucrative terms to keep him at the club until at least 2021.
The deal, worth £350,000-per-week (Dh181,000), makes the German the highest-paid player in the club’s history – according to BBC Sport journalist David Ornstein.
Ozil’s contract extension follows the news Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has signed for the club.
