  • Will Pogba still be at United next season?

The January transfer window may be shut but there’s still plenty of news from the rumour mill with several moves being put off until the summer.

Here, we round-up the transfer tales that have got everyone talking.

    PAUL POGBA

Agent Mino Raiola is said to be behind the speculation that Paul Pogba is looking to leave Manchester United, according to Sports Illustrated. There have been rising tensions between Pogba and United manager Jose Mourinho in recent weeks, and Raiola is subsequently trying to shop his client to some of Europe’s leading clubs. Mourinho’s decision to leave Pogba out of the starting XI in Wednesday night’s Champions League clash against Sevilla did nothing to quell the speculation, indicating once again the fissures in the relationship between the two.

Paul Pogba's future is still the source of speculation.

    ARTHUR

Gremio president Romildo Bolzan has denied reports that the club have agreed a deal to send midfielder Arthur to Barcelona. Reports on Wednesday suggested that a €40million deal was in place for Arthur to join in January 2019, and that he was in Barcelona for a medical and to finalise a contract. However, Bolzan said to Brazilian radio station Radio Bandeirantes (via Goal) that while the two clubs were in the midst of discussions over a transfer, no deal had been agreed.

    KARIM BENZEMA

Several of France’s leading clubs are monitoring Karim Benzema as the Frenchman struggles for form at Real MadridLe10Sport reports (via AS). Marseille, PSG, Monaco, and former club Lyon are all said to be mulling over a potential move, and Benzema himself is reportedly open to a return to his homeland. The 30-year-old’s form has tailed off at Madrid, despite numerous votes of confidence from manager Zinedine Zidane and president Florentino Perez, and there have been suggestions that the La Liga outfit could be ready to move on from the Frenchman.
