  • There are a few months yet until the summer transfer window comes along but there’s still plenty to talk about as clubs lay the groundwork for potential deals once the current campaign is concluded.

There are more than enough stories for football fans to sink their teeth into.

Here’s a look at three potential transfer deals that could go through when the market reopens for business in June.

    GIANLUIGI DONNARUMMA

PSG are ready to make a move for AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, according to AS. The French giants have invested heavily on outfield players, with the number one spot largely left with Kevin Trapp and Alphonse Areola. But, according to the Spanish publication the Ligue 1 champions want to bolster that area of their team as they attempt to become the biggest club in Europe. The 18-year-old only signed a new deal at the San Siro last summer, but his time at the club has turned sour after fans were angered by the way in which the new deal was signed.

    JEAN-MICHAEL SERI

Manchester United are stepping up their interest to sign Nice midfielder Jean-Michael Seri – with doubts over the future of Paul Pogba. According to the Mirror, the Red Devils have reportedly made contact with representatives of Seri amid suggestions Pogba could leave Old Trafford at the end of the season. Seri’s release clause is considered to be around £33 million, but the price could be well worth it for Jose Mourinho to land the midfield this summer, who is equipped with an impressive passing range and voracious work-rate. The Ivory Coast international was set to join Barcelona last summer but the deal fell through.

    MATTEO DARMIAN

Juventus will sign Matteo Darmian from Manchester United during the summer, Corriere dello Sport reports. The Italy international, who has fallen down the pecking order under Jose Mourinho this term, will join the Serie A champions at the end of the season. Massimiliano Allegri is seeking a replacement for 34-year-old Stephan Lichtsteiner who’s contract is due to expire in June. Darmian, who turns 29 in December, has played just four Premier League matches this campaign and has not made been included in the team since the 2-0 win over Everton on January 1.
